ha ha. Excellent. So either:

- we were never interested - more evidence that Grant is happy with what he's got at CB (starting to look increasingly like this is the case, surely)
- or we tried but Stoke were more persuasive. Which is a bit of a bugg*r on a number of levels.

Hard to see much upside to either, really. Unless you're Gary Doherty or his wife.
