bet365 are pretty good

I must get about 6+ free £5 bets a year. I don't know if you have to qualify for them by being a regular user

They work on you place the bet first, and you have a message inbox with the mail they sent about the offer. You go to place the freebet as you normally would (best to do it with nothing in your account so you don't mess up), and you activate the free bet with a code they give you from the message inbox

The only obvious catch is you don't get the stake back
