If the phone service is comparible with BT,

don't touch them with a barge pole - BT are the biggest bunch of crooked, no-nothing, ignorant tossers in the known universe.
I use NTL and have never had a moments problem,. I've even been getting free cable tv (inc. sky sports) for nearly a year now.
