I think if you can drive in devon and cornwall's country lanes you can drive anywhere on god's earth. It takes a lot of skill to reverse to the nearest gate and to tuck in enough to let that huge landrover past. And there's no margin for error - the alternative isn't just mounting the pavement a little bit, it's a huge scar down the side of your car from those dry stone walls.
