It is missing Ashton and Hucks as you say. Safri too. I think those three would make a huge difference to our attacking threat.

We kept a clean sheet though. And (he says optimistically) maybe the Doc got the whole game because he came back from the off season fitter than the others having taken on board the criticism of his fitness last year.

Or they could just be taking it easy with Shacks given his mumps episode.

Can't say I'm not worried about the fact we only have three midfielders on the books right now. I just hope we don't get (a)overcharged or (b)stuck without cover, as everyone in football who cares to take a look must realise we're desparate for midfielders.
