Religion is a choice not a commitment, also

muslims can interpret Ramadan as they see fit, they can fast with food but still take on water, there are allowances for sick, young, old, infirm or if a detriment to their health.

I'm sure my boss would be pissed off if I couldn't do my job properly because of religious comitments, but it would be hard for him to complain, rights an' all that jazz.
