this puts you in a stronger position than if you DONT have the job, then its all acedemic!!

how would you feel if you thought the ONLY reason why you didnt get the job offer was cos you had a holiday already booked?!!

its a simple sales strategy - in this case you're selling yourself..... why put up your own objection/hurdle that you could fall at?? even if the company wouldnt admit it and gave you another reason, they could discount you simpkly cos you had this holiday booked.....
