how gullible are NCFC fans

A club that has so far sold its leading scorer from last season and a key midfielder - replaced with an untried Czech player , two returning players and two goalkeepers - plus Brellier and Semi - suddenly everyone is talking about promotion , there is a crowd of 20,000 tonight for a friendly against a lower Premiership team ( the kind of club /team we need to emulate ) when arguably , the better friendly is on Friday and the crowd will probbaly not hit 5,000

Season ticket sales have held firm ( despite price increases ) and again this season the ground will be full for every match - WHY ? - okay so to start with in August everyone feels optimistic etc , but looking at our team picture and the number of youngsters there to bulk it out - again our squad looks a bit on the thin side if we get hit with injuries and suspensions again

I hate to predict bad things for this club , but if we do not hit the ground running and if by October we are not doing well , I am sure crowds will diminish and discontnet will set in again

I do not get this optimism at all
