went to Halkidiki. We paid 200 notes each for a week and ended up in the most beautiful 4* apartments. Talking to the owner if we'd have turned up and paid for our weeks Apartment it would have cost nearly 400 notes each (just for the apartment) The key is to go AOA self catering because you will generally get an Aparthotel rather than a cramped massive touristy hotel. And the places that supply a kitchenette with your room are generally of a much higher class.
