As a Clash fan - I find this quite an upsetting read...

How quite such an untalented bloke gets to write so inaccurately in The Times and sell thousands of records through some of the most dreadful pop I've heard is the truest reflection of our times.

If you didn't know - Mick Jones wrote and sung Train In Vain not Joe Strummer. It's my favourite Clash song.
