fair enough, like i say I trust grant

Russell just never did it for me. Saw him vanish from games far too often.
He could be good but for me he was in the Etuhu mould, it was when he could be bothered, normally when the cameras where down.
Could well of grown out of that, and do a good job for us.
All i'm saying is I wouldn't be dancing in the street if we got him, and would of expected him to have moved on from stoke by now if he had that much to offer.
The flip side of that is I won't be slating him, getting on his back or hoping he fails either.
He is solid at this level, I just think we could do with someone more than 'solid'.
