...whilst I think it's usually a a mistake coming back to a club where you've already spent time, I reckon Grant will get the best out of Russell.

Have always thought he's a decent player, good energy, got his head screwed on and won't rock the boat at all. He's a decent Championship player and potentially a reasonable Premiership one.

Most pleasing thing about it is that I think Grant's exactly the sort of person that will bring him along- it was in last year's Stoke programme that Russell was interviewed and was very complimentary about Grant.
