surely most of the coaching and tactical work would be done by grant and duffy, and the fitness work done by the sports scientists etc. therefore wht not get in an NCFC legend to literally pass on his experience and tips. if malky iwan or dion got the job they could play the role of the coach who is mates with the players, the link between management and players if you like. the sort or coach who might take some of the younger players to one side when they aren't performing as they should.
if we take on a top coach the surely some of his ideas will conflict with duffy and grant ??
financially it would also make sense
