Still don't see what Steve's problem is...

...could have had all thirty of us in front of him ordering our own drinks, finding the money, collecting change and then pushing through to get out. Would have taken far longer than getting a few of us to do it.

I agree with your "what does Dave want" remark, but going up, ordering what you want and buggering off for the next hour or so is hardly the same...
