Hi, far from it
I was only having a playful jibe. I've nothing against Norwich really, I just thought (in a mad moment) that it might attract a few punters. In fact my memories of that part of the world are fond ones. I used to spend my holidays as a youngster in the Kessingland and Hemsby caravan parks.
As for the shirt jumpers, you've hit the nail on the head - they're parasites who are keeping some of us loyal supporters out of Stamford Bridge. A typical example being that the rich buy season tickets merely to see the big games but don't bother against the lessor teams.
As for Palace, it was merely a thinly veiled suggestion that Jimmy might stay closer to home, as has been the case previoulsy, to report back on a regular basis to Chelsea.
If I upset you I'm sorry but you can be sure I'll feature his progress at Norwich between now and December.
Good luck for the coming season.

I hope he is as good as you think he is, because maybe little Jimmy Smith might not cut it at Norwich
You probably get very annoyed that, along with the success that has followed Chelsea, comes the fans who've ditched the Liverpool and Man Utd shirts, or the wave of sudden celebrities or fairweather fans who have supported Chelsea all their lives
I have a lot of sympathy if you've supported Chelsea for a long time and have to put up with it. That said, there's no need to get consumed or overwhelmed by these people to the point of writing an article like that, you sound like one of them
This isn't a "We are bigger than Palace" rant, although I wouldn't be able to stand watching football at that hell hole, especially for £30, more than I have to
But is it really that bad that Smith's learning his trade further at Norwich?
