no-one buys currency anymore

just take your credit card with you and pay by card as much as possible (it's the cheapest way). If you need some change, you can get cash out at a hole in the wall, but the commission is a bit more (about the same as you'd pay at a bureau de change).

I suppose you could go to your bank and get 20 euros or so for the immediate cash factor, but i wouldn't bother personally.
