A1, A14, M11, A120

I would take the A1 because you then avoid more of the A14, which is the real danger road on this journey.

Some might say stay on the A14 all the way down to scumland, but you are much more likely to get stuck on the A14 compared to the M11....the A120 is single carriage in some places though.

What time are you leaving and hoping to arrive?
