How does that work then?

I had previously thought that loans were either short-term (1, 2 or 3 months) or long-term (duration of the season). Can you do half-season loans?

Or, is it that this is a Dicksonesque loan whereby We've loaned him until the next transfer window when we can sign him if we and Chelsea want?
