Last night Jimmy Smith played the second half for Chelsea in the 4-3 loss to MK Dons.

Bit strange to give him a run-out in what is effectively a less-than-reserve team the evening before a transfer, even if it is a loan (I'd imagine he still has to do a medical ?).

(incidentally, only mention in the game report: "Sergio Tejera broke from the Dons own throw in and fed a rampaging Jimmy Smith through midfield.")
