I'd say you start your contracted players - give Fozzy a chance first if

he continues to impress in friendlies, with Smith getting 10 or 20 mins a game and breathing down Fozzy's neck from the bench.

If the Fozzster isn't up to it, then replace him with Smith and let him fight for his place.
