The transfer market is crazy right now...

All these takeovers have artificially inflated prices.

Mega-rich Premiership clubs (which there are quite a few now!) can afford to reject bids from less rich Premiership clubs and sell and buy amongst themselves and rich foreign clubs. This leads to the lesser Premiership clubs looking at the Championship for players, and the Championship clubs are cashing in on this and selling for quite high prices - such as Koumas and especially Bent.

We couldn't do what those clubs did when selling their best players, we couldn't haggle for a better price - we HAD NO CHOICE but to accept a bid that is nothing in today's market.

A few years ago, £1.5m would have been a great price for Etuhu and £3.5 would have been a fair price for Earnie. Now, it's not and it's a joke.

We've been shafted.
