Is it me, or...

does there seem to be an abundence of woodlice around this summer?

Every few days or so I find half a dozen or so brown bread, lying belly-up (but not doing the dying fly) on the floor in my entrance hall... where the only wood in sight is the front door and the laminate flooring.
