I'm pretty sure I've never said he was doing a brilliant job

he's doing a fantastically difficult job pretty decently, and for all the criticism I still haven't heard anyone seriously suggest what the club should be doing differently.
We probably should have signed more up-and-coming young players like Ashton with the Prem money rather than has-beens like Charlton, Stuart and subsequently Hughes but I said that at the time and to an extenmt that is a manger's decision rather than someone like ND's.. And we do seem to be moving towards that approach now so I approve.
