You've missed my point... let's say you're BUYING something in the (secret) knowledge that you've got some cash coming in, you're negotiating the price for the thing you're BUYING, not telling the seller that you're about to get a cash windfall from a sale.

Then someone comes along and tells everyone you've got money coming in, and suddenly the price of the thing you're BUYING goes up and the deal falls through.
