The Baron + Ipswich

I might be wrong as i may have missed it but from what ive seen The Baron is getting abuse for saying Ipswich may have a good team next year. Why the hatred? If he thinks they may be a threat, that's his opinion, no need to get abusive just because it's to do with Ipswich. Or has he said some other stuff?
