if there was a player Grant really wanted and that player insisted on a release clause Grant would lose interest in the player.

He won't achieve much if he wants to operate in dream world.

decent players have smart agents. And even if the players want to play for us they'll still want to make sure they can move up to the Prem if the chance arises. It's their career and they might only get one shot.
