This Google earth thing

I'm about to begin d/ling it. BUT I note that it's described as a Broadband program.

Sorry for being a bit of a div, but what exactly does that mean? I don't have Broadband so I know nowt about it - but I'd guess that I won't be able to run the prog.

Or have I missed the gist?
