Seriously though

If the numbers being bandied about for Saffers are true (i.e. £1m+) surely we'd be utterly mad not to rip their arms off?

As for Our Desmond, I dunno. He was a total and utter waste of space when he arrived, but even if he has improved out of sight since - I'm not really qualified to comment on his last 6 months - £1.5m+ after paying £450k isn't too bad of a return.

As ever, the real question would be "where next?"
