I like a bit of wholesome peasant grub myself. And surely there's a natural affinity between the two great dumpling eating nations of Norfolk and Czech Republic?
Haven't been to Rome, but was in Tuscany earlier this year - in the cities, the food is over priced and over cooked for the most part - need to get out into the countryside to get the real stuff (at half the price).
