Don't understand why the new signings are too early for the friendly?

Jon Otsemobor and Matthew Gilks signed before the transfer windows open, as Jamie was a just a few days after, they joined the whole team as the full training as the same time I wonder...

Anyway they will play for Norwich City so it's not a big concern be honest...
