film buffs?

i have a vague recollection of a film from the 80s/early 90s which consisted of loads of scenes from all around the world- people in cities, jungles, then scenes of natural phenomena like volcanos, thunder storms etc- a bit like a documentary, but there was no commentary, just a really strirring soundtrack of electronic-type music- what the bloody hell was it called, anyone???
