WORTHY ON TRANSFER SITUATION
City Boss Nigel Worthington spoke to First News last night on the latest transfer situation.
Worthington is quick to assure Canary fans that the best thing they can do now is be patient as there is plenty of work going on at the Club to bolster the squad ahead of the new season on August 6.
"There are a lot of people out there getting a little bit concerned over squad numbers", said Worthington. "All I can say to them is just be patient as there is work on going. There are one or two players possiby on their way out of the Club and some money has come back into the Club from those deals so we are looking to spend that money the best way we can. I have to be patient too, there are irons in the fire and always work going on behind the scenes and hopefully we will have more players in sooner rather than later."
Meanwhile Nigel gave an update on Club Captain Craig Fleming who broke his nose during the friendly against Dereham Town last night: "Craig had his nose set this morning and was already back in training straight after that so he is progressing quickly and is not a concern at this moment in time."
