Now this is what dodgy football rumours should be used for !!!!!

Peter Grant will employ a team of time traveling scientists from the UEA. They'll be disguised as nuns and travel about 10 years forward in time, to earmark stars of the future. Norwich will then sign the kids up and bingo with in a few years will have a world class team.

It is understood that there is to be a bid from a Norfolk based business man for the control of Norwich City Football Club. The as yet un–named, Irish born business man has worked in the county for around 7 years and has links with the football club. He is said to be keen to invest some of the money he made from football back into the club and take them back to the Premier League. A condition of the take over bid will require the club to take on former striker Peter Thorne who is keenly admired by the businessman in question. There has so far only been one comment made by the bidder. He said of Norwich "I have a lot of respect for Norwich, and its a club close to my heart. It a club that likes to play football on the ground and the players are always committed to the cause and it'd be hard to find fault with any of them. All I will ask from the players and management is passion and commitment to Norwich City Football Club. "

The deal to takeover from out going majority share holder Delia Smith will take place within the next few weeks and its expected that Peter Grant will be given some money to spend on players
