The Matrix

I thought that the opening 20 minutes of the Matrix are the best bit of cinema I had ever seen. It was a brilliantly imaginative idea, tyhe film-mkaing was incredibly innovative, the acting was excellent, the pace was superb, it swept you along relentlessly with you desperately trying to figure it all out. Just superb. I loved it, LOVED IT.

The second film was just in the "very good" category. The third was filed under "crap".
