That he was a great believer in an old-fashioned 4-4-2 with pace out wide. He's now got the players to do that and without Earnshaw it makes Hucks easier to fit into the team. That said, I also have a suspicion that, given the choice, he wants Hucks to play up front rather than on the wing. It can't be a co-incidence that we tightened up across the park with Hucks up front and an orthodox left winger in his place.
