I had this football dream a while ago

The poor timing and direction of one of my football related dreams is still reminded to me to this day by Mrs KC.

Mrs KC is a more than decent tennis player, and the timing of the birth of our second child, Amy, was not great for the tennis season start as she was born ten days late, and the first match of the league season was only three weeks after the happy day. Mrs KC had a tough time of it in hospital, but was determined to make a quick recovery.

After she came home from hospital, Mrs KC did everything necessary to ensure she was fit for the first tennis match. Salt baths, exercises, long walks were all regularly undertaken in preparation for the big day.

Anyway, back to my dream, which was very vivid and took place a couple of days after Mrs KC and Amy had returned from hospital.

In my dream, Norwich were playing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and I was playing left wing for Norwich. At the most vivid point in my dream, the ball was crossed from the right wing, and I charged in from the left to score. For some reason, I couldn’t get my left foot to the ball, so I kick out with my right foot as hard as I could.

All I can say it that my foot hit, the "back of the net", but luckily for me, Mrs KC still managed to get fit for the tennis season.
