Thanks for asking mate...
Radiotherapy treatment finished in late April, side effects lasted quite a bit longer-mouth ulcers, sunburn, loss of weight-amongst the not so severe ones!
However, tumour in mouth/palate has shrunk, according to my Oncologist, to the size of a "small nodule", whilst secondary tumour, in neck, has shrunk by some 80-90%, so treatment, whilst radical and 'kin awful, seems to have been successful.
Had MRI scan last week prior to surgery on my neck, surgeon wants to take out whats left of the tumour/infected glands, quite a common operation by all accounts and 2-3 days in hospital max.
Oncologist confident we've agood chance of nailing the bastard, so fingers crossed and thanks again.
Meantime, all your Wrathers, as before-ANY suspicious lump or growth in your mouth, throat, maybe a blockage there or something you can feel when you swallow, else something on your gums or palate thats a bit firm and not 'usual'-get to the Doc ASAP to get it checked out.
