it's an awful lot about the cars

but it's fair to say that Hamilton is the real deal

for a driver to suceed in F1 there's a fair amount of being in the right car at the right time, but if a driver isn't that little bit special it doesn't matter how good the car is, that driver won't be good enough (Damon Hill may've been the exception that proves this rule)
