Umm no

I was actually quoting a friend of Bush's. The Christian fundamentalists are having a crusade and the muslim fundamentalists are fighting back. The problem is that while both are tiny minorities the Christian fundamentalists are currently running the US. What makes me really laugh is that the crusade in Iraq is apparently part of the war on terror, yet when there is a terrorist attack we are also told it has nothing to do with our policy in Iraq. I am extraordinarily pissed off at our illegal war, and if I were a muslim I'd be even more so. It doesn't surprise me that amongst all the hundreds of thousands of British muslims that there were a handful who were so depraved that they would blow themselves up.
Do we really believe that we could fight a wholly illegal war - based on lie after lie after lie - and that there would be no consequences?
