have always said it. He was never what we really wanted - and blowing all the transfer budget on him always looked like a mistake - now confirmed by the contract details. The big flaw in the argument that Earnshaw was a bad signing was that if we sold him for a big profit then he could never be classed a bad signing. But he never could be.
