FAO Norwich Frenchies...

...I'm driving from Toulouse Airport to Lasserre in the Languedoc-Rossillon region of France...I is hearing that the namesake of a particularly fine sausage is a nightmare to find your way around, or out of, is that true? Also, can you recommend any decent map books to buy for the Lasserre area so I can go up into the hills and visit lots quaint widdle villages?..
