Dean Windass

A player who plyed his early career in the lower leagues before attracting the interest of a 2nd tier club, finally ending up at Bradford after a spell in the top divisions. So nearly played for Norwich & the manager left because of his no show. Sorry did I say Dean Windass or Peter Thorne.
