Well, it's either true or bulls**t.

If it's true we're f**ked, and if it's bulls**t it's possibly designed to make other clubs think that a) we won't be letting players go on the cheap and b) we won't be able to break the bank to bring players in.

Given the clubs recent form for telling the truth in the transfer market, I'd guess it's most likely bulls**t. Certainly hope so.
