The Madness of King Worthy

Yes, Jonson didn't quite cut it at Prem level but then neither did most of our squad. I personally think he would have done well in the Championship and may have even notched a few goals for us.

Even by his own reckoning, Worthy is down by about 4/5 players on the size of squad he needs.

When you look back at the events of the summer so far, you begin to wonder whether the club has got itself into some kind of financial straits. Look at the facts:

Worthy hasn't spent a bean.

The club has been heamorraging players left right and centre.

There has been no news about the much vaunted hotel.

I think they were banking on selling one of Green or Francis and this simply hasn't happened hence the departure of other players.

If the club starts bringing in new signings over the next week or so then my concerns will be allayed. The indoor at Colney is rusting off its hinges though.
