"We identified that there was a £2 million cash hole in this year coming up which would have required the sale of a player or players in that year.

"Obviously with this £2 million that's been found, there's no need to sell players."

WHY do the board bother telling us this? There is a need to sell a player when he has minimum release fee. Does anyone believe anything they say anymore?
