I don't agree with the 'he's just a goalscorer' point of view.

I think he's an excellent allround footballer who is too selfish. He was often up-front on his own and I didn't see many others queing up to score. If Derby get Nugent, or someone as good (and give up hoofball) then I they'll stay up.

In the right team with the right partner Earnshaw could still be one of the best players in the league.
