Prem clubs awash with money = high prices at the moment. So Spurs are prepared to pay 16.5m for Darren Bent (career average goals per game lower than Earnie's, I would bet my house).

£3.5m for a prem club for a man with a goal-scoring record like that? Bargain of the year.
