it's all very well Grant talking about being "held to ransom" but there's no such thing it's just a smoke screen. The bottom line is that every player has a market price just like any other commodity and if Cardiff were willing to pay Rae £7K a week then that's not holding someone to ransome it's simply getting the best deal possible. I'm not saying its morally right but it's the world we live in. It's also all very well Delia saying that she'd never sell out to a foreign investor but their involvement in our game, albeit good or bad, pushes up wage inflation and you either pay the going price or you slump into mid-table (or worse!). I can't see it getting any better (except if we sell Earnshaw) unless there's a change at Board level. Depressing yes but realistic.
