The problem I have with it all is this

Huckerby is our best player. But the team looks more solid with Lappin on the left and Huckerby up front - and Lappin is by far our best dead-ball deliverer. So how do you fit Huckerby and Earnie - or an Earnie replacement into the side? I don't think Worthington or Grant have ever solved that one - no coincidence that Huckerby's brilliant run of form last season came when Earnie was missing.
I've always thought that Earnie was not the right signing for us - frankly we'd have been better signing Howard or a Howard type.
