Maybe this might help

I had a problem sharing files on a wireless laptop/home network aswell. I now have a shared folder on my laptop that i access from my other pcs

you should be able to double click the laptop icon you see from your PC to access it's shared folders, if not...I don't want to presume what you know, but, make sure all computers are in the same workgroup/name. (right click my computer/properties/computer name/change)

On your laptop you have a shared folder, right click my computer and it should be in the left hand panel, if not try C:Documents and SettingsAll Users. Any files in these folders can be added, deleted or changed by any computers on the workgroup.
